  •  He won two bronze medals at the 1904 Summer Olympics in St, Louis, Missouri in the double York round

  •  Helped organize the National Archery Association, 1879

  • First National Archery Association Champion, 1879;

  • Also NAA champion 1901, 02, 03 and 08

  • President, National Archery Association, 1882, 1903 and 04

  • Participated in 18 National Archery Association National Championships,1879-1913; never placed out of the Top 10
